This is designs for a poster promotion for musical film festival. I used iconic image shaped into the lettering. I have testing different types of layout where it fits best as layout and still have quirky style.
The list of films work well underneath the typography. It flows in one line and giving a clear date in helevetica.
I like how it all goes down in a straight line but there is too much space on one side.
Splitting in half the title and the information works in layout and also separates what is design.
Not sure having the list of films in two parts stops it's flow and makes it to bulky.
Again the information on the right hand side looks left out and doesn't as layout structure.
The coloured typography in Helevetica is discrating from the title. The layout works well but just not with too many colour.
Making it centre and squashed works well and easy flow to read. Again not happy with colour.
Putting the information around the title works well together. Works well in contrasts. I Think its a good flow read.
The list is too near the margin.
The date doesn't line up with the list.This could fixed but apart from that I think it lines up well and tides together as composition.
The idea is trying to be different having the information over text and the list oddly placed.
The date looks odd at the bottom.
