Country Cakes LTD

i wanted to make the typography as like icing on the cake, So these are what I came up with. Using differnat typography style tracing over icing.
















Even though the typography icing relates to the country cakes its not working compared to the design I did before using simple illustartions and typography. I am going back to do my other design and keep the icing on record that it was trial and error exsperiment.

I moved the design further by starting to play with two types of blues and greens making it more neutral, the image I have produced are looking at the old vintage style of typography. Using typography fitting with the words. Just by creating simple shapes to around the labels bring it more age and depth.






the circled dots make sit more flashy and gives it a retro look, but might need to make the dots smaller.



Having dots underlined also makes it more retro but prefer it as a circle brings in the type together rather than just one word.



This looks like a coca cola logo. But from that I could the layout to not make it like the cola logo.



I made the background more grainy but it looks like its been snowing rather than bringing in age.









Making the label plain makes it a bit boring and doesn't work for what I am wanting to produce asa vintage style logo.







creating patterns works really well and makes it even more vintage, but needs to create more patterns and dots to play around with but still making it modern.

These are further development of logos I have moved one from my first designs and tying to produce retro/vintage typography to represent the old and local country side of country cakes ltd.



I have been playing mostly with lighter blue colours, as a more nuitral between the audience which i am aiming at the mature audience both male and female.



stripes are also something about are very retro.













Ribbons was another idea producing a logo, Which I felt that there was a connection to the old style retro look.







I felt maybe producing stickers would be a cheap option. Rather using card and use plastic for the cake slices.
